The ASEAN Para Games is a biennial multi-sport event governed by the ASEAN Para Sports Federation for athletes with disabilities. As a befitting finale to commemorate Singapore's Golden Jubilee and a celebration for Singapore's sports, Singapore hosted the 8th ASEAN Para Games from 3 to 9 Dec 2015, with the theme Celebrate the Extraordinary. This is history in the making too as it is the first time Singapore is hosting the Para Games. This stamp issue, commemorating the 8th ASEAN Para Games, features Nila, the official mascot (1st Local) as well as an illustration of athletes in various sporting actions (S$2.00).
