The Association of Singapore Philatelists (ASP) successfully bid for the hosting rights of World Stamp Exhibition in 2015, with support of the Fédération Internationale de Philatélie (FIP – International Federation of Philately); an effort to celebrate Singapore's Golden Jubilee in 2015. The exhibition was held from 14 to 19 Aug 2015. The previous World Stamp Exhibitions hosted in Singapore were in 1995 and 2004. The fourth series from the theme "Stamps of all Ages", the two stamps in this issue have a common design showing the National Flag of Singapore.
