This stamp issue by Singapore Post features four major festivals that are observed in Singapore – Chinese New Year, Hari Raya Aidilfitri, Deepavali and Christmas. A celebration of the rich and diverse cultural heritage of the nation's multiracial society, each of these festivals are depicted graphically in two distinct designs in this stamp issue – traditional foods usually served during the festive celebrations (1st Local) and decorations associated with each festival (60c).
