The ASEAN Postal Administrations team is made up of the postal administrations from the 10 ASEAN countries. Each year, the ASEAN Postal Administrations team meets to share experiences and ideas to transform and integrate Posts in the ASEAN region. To further build and strengthen the excellent relationship, the ASEAN Postal Administrations team jointly releases this stamp issue on National Costume. The single stamp in this issue by Singapore Post features the costumes of the four different ethnic groups in Singapore – Chinese, Malay, Indian and Eurasian. This stamp issue is released on 8 Aug 2019 in the other ASEAN countries, while it's released in Singapore on 1 Aug 2019; hence it's not a joint date of issue, although it's a similar-themed joint issue.
