There are a total of 12 animal signs in the Chinese zodiac, which is based on five cycles of 12 years each. 2021 is the Year of the Metal Ox; 1961 being another of such year within the century. Celebrating the Year of the Metal Ox, besides the annual zodiac stamps, Singapore Post also issued a Special Collector's Sheet with a commemorative S$10.00 stamp. The Collector's Sheet is encased in a folder along with a set of zodiac-themed red packets. Just like the Year of the Metal Rat, the design of the Special Collector's Sheet is inspired by the traditional Chinese art form of paper cutting. The commemorative stamp in the Special Collector's Sheet features the Chinese character 牛 (Ox).
