Malaysia is known for its many islands that feature stunning beaches, tropical rainforests and assortment of unique flora and fauna. This stamp issue by Pos Malaysia features four prized islands in Malaysia, selected for their nature history and eco-diversity. With an assortment of unique flora and fauna not found anywhere else in Malaysia, these islands are indeed truly hidden treasures of Malaysia. The miniature sheet above features Pulau Bohey Dulang in Sabah. An interesting feature of the stamp in the miniature sheet is the embossing with lacquer effect, thus giving the stamp an almost 3D feel.
