A long-awaited stamp issue, this issue is definitely a memorable one for the fight against Covid-19. Throughout these incredibly trying times during the pandemic, Malaysian frontliners have come together and worked tirelessly to deliver and meet the needs of Malaysians, risking their personal safety for the wellbeing of the nation. Designed by Red Hong Yi, a Malaysian contemporary artist who's also known as "the artist who paints without a paintbrush", and exclusively designed in the form of sketches, this stamp issue, which is also issued in conjunction with the National Month, pays tribute to frontliners from the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM), Ministry of Health (KKM) and Malaysian Armed Forces (ATM). Featuring a special printing technique using red invisible ink, when viewed under UV light, images of the Covid-19 virus would be revealed.
