2021 has been dedicated as the Year of Celebrating SG Women and the release of this stamp commemorates this community movement. A collaboration between Singapore Post and the Ministry of Social and Family Development (MSF), the stamp design is inspired by the Celebrating SG Women logo, which is modelled after Singapore's national flower, the Vanda Miss Joaquim orchid. The outline of the Vanda Miss Joaquim orchid in the stamp design is paired with words describing the positive attributes of women. The bold with soft curves font chosen is aligned to what women in Singapore are – strong, empowering, and also empathetic and patient altogether.
