Singapore hosted the SEA Games for the third time in 1993. The XVII SEA Games were held in Singapore from 12 to 20 Jun 1993. Commemorating this sporting event, Singapore Post issued this set of stamps featuring some of the popular sports in Singapore – football (20c), basketball (35c), badminton (50c), athletics (75c), water polo (S$1.00) and yatching (S$2.00). The XVII SEA Games 93 logo is also incorporated in each stamp.
