Designated to bear the nation's pride upon its delicate fronds, the Vanda Miss Joaquim has been a national symbol since 15 Apr 1981. As a hybrid, the flower was selected to reflect Singapore's multicultural heritage. The five stamps in this issue present different parts of Vanda Miss Joaquim and its beautiful full bloom.
