Children's Museum Singapore is the first museum in Singapore dedicated to children 12 years old and below. Housed in the former Singapore Philatelic Museum building located at Coleman Street, this new museum will be a "starter museum" to introduce young visitors and their families to the museum-going experience. It aims to encourage young visitors to explore and learn through artefacts, hands-on and immersive displays, personal stories, and role-playing. In conjunction with the opening of the Children's Museum Singapore, Singapore Post issued this set of colorful stamps to celebrate this event. The stamps are designed based on the concept of games and activities that are familiar to children of all ages. An interesting feature of this issue is that the S$1.50 stamp comes with glow in the dark effect. This issue also comes with a miniature sheet – click here for more details.
