Singapore Youth Festival (SYF) is an annual event in Singapore to showcase student's talents in performing arts in the country. First launched on 18 Jul 1967 by then President of Singapore Yusof Ishak, it was part of a drive at that time to "cultivate the human resource" as espoused by then Minister for Education Ong Pang Boon. Celebrating Singapore Youth Festival's 10th anniversary in 1967, this stamp issue by Singapore Post consists of three stamps that depict the emblem of the festival, alongside some of the activities and performances related to the festival – interschool band performance (10c), track and field activities (35c) as well as music and dance performance (75c).
