There are a total of 12 animal signs in the Chinese zodiac, which is based on five cycles of 12 years each. 2023 is the Year of the Water Rabbit; the first of such in the 21st century. The previous Year of the Water Rabbit was in 1963 which falls in the 20th century. Celebrating the Year of the Water Rabbit, just like prior years, besides the annual zodiac stamps, Singapore Post also issued a Special Collector's Sheet with a commemorative S$10.00 stamp. The Collector's Sheet is encased in a folder along with a set of zodiac-themed red packets. The design of the Special Collector's Sheet is inspired by the traditional Chinese art form of paper cutting, with the commemorative stamp in the Special Collector's Sheet featuring the Chinese character 兔 (Rabbit).
