Formed in 1974, the Singapore Convention Bureau began the promotion of Singapore as a convention destination. A campaign was initiated in 1992 to reposition Singapore at a higher plane of sophistication in terms of facilities and expertise. The Meet in Singapore 1995 campaign was launched to promote 21 years of infrastructure development and professionalism, as well as to raise awareness of Singapore as a convention destination. This stamp issue in 1995 not only commemorates this event but also to celebrate the opening of the Singapore International Convention & Exhibition Centre at Suntec City. The four stamps in this issue features the Singapore International Convention & Exhibition Centre (20c), Suntec City (75c), Suntec City view from Temasek Boulevard (S$1.00) and Fountain Terrace, which is located in Suntec City (S$2.00).
