As an international metropolis, Hong Kong boasts a number of arts and cultural landmarks. To enhance public's appreciation of arts and culture as well as promoting the development of the cultural industries in Hong Kong, this stamp issue by Hongkong Post features seven local arts and cultural landmarks in Hong Kong. The six landmarks featured in the regular stamps are Hong Kong Cultural Centre (HK$2.20), the renovated Hong Kong Museum of Art (HK$2.80), Hong Kong City Hall (HK$5.50) as well as key sites within the West Kowloon Cultural District, such as the Hong Kong Palace Museum (HK$4.00), M+ (HK$3.70) and the Xiqu Centre (HK$5.40). These locations reflect the blend of traditional Chinese culture and modern international influences that characterise Hong Kong.
