The Bird Paradise at Mandai Wildlife Reserve is home to more than 3,500 birds from over 400 species, making it a significant attraction in Singapore's "City in Nature" vision. Celebrating the grand opening of the Bird Paradise, Singapore Post released this set of stamps showcasing both bird species and themed aviaries within the park. The stamps highlight rare and endangered birds such as the Knobbed Hornbill (1st Local), Negros Bleeding-heart (80c) and the Philippine Eagle (80c), reflecting Singapore's commitment to wildlife conservation. The remaining stamps depict immersive aviaries in the park, such as the Crimson Wetlands (90c), Wings of Asia (S$1.15), and Heart of Africa (S$1.50), illustrating the diverse habitats recreated in the park. Combining vibrant artwork with educational value, I personally find this is the most beautiful set issued by Singapore Post thus far in 2023.
