Since its inception in 1974, the Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC) has been committed to fighting corruption in Hong Kong through a three-pronged approach of law enforcement, education and prevention. Commemorating 50 years since the inception of ICAC, this stamp issue by Hongkong Post relives the city's glorious days of fighting corruption over the past 50 years. The six regular stamps in this issue feature the Murray Road multi-storey carpark building, the main office of the ICAC when it was first established (HK$2.20); a scene on ICAC officers obtaining information from the interviewee at a triangular table (HK$2.80); young people participating in integrity promotion and education programmes (HK$3.70); the use of technology to enhance systemic prevention capabilities (HK$4.00); Hong Kong's involvement in international symposium to foster anti-corruption collaborations (HK$5.40); as well as an image of a coffee cup, an iconic image used in publicity of anti-corruption by ICAC (HK$5.50).
