As night falls, Singapore's skyline comes alive in a dazzling display of architectural lighting, celebrating the city's transformation into a vibrant global metropolis. This MyStamp issue in 2017 features iconic landmarks illuminated after dark – the Esplanade (1st Local), the Helix Bridge and Supertree Grove (60c), the Singapore Flyer (S$1.30), the Central Business District skyline (S$1.30), and the National Museum of Singapore (S$2.00). Silver foil is extensively used to highlight structural details and lighting effects, giving the designs a futuristic sheen and enhancing their visual impact. The reflective foil catches the light from different angles, creating a dynamic impression of movement and brilliance that echoes the theme of a city aglow; presenting a striking tribute to Singapore's urban landscape and its night-time splendour.
