It was first established in 1938/1939 as the King George V National Park, which was renamed to Taman Negara after Malaysia's independence in 1957. The stamps in the miniature sheet features the Asian Bearcat (Binturong), Berkoh Cascade, Orange Huntsman Spider, Malayan Peacock Pheasant and the Bioluminescent Mushroom.
