Malaysia is one of the most biodiverse countries in Asia with over 2000 endemic (native) species. However, most of the Malaysian wildlife is under threat. This stamp issue by Pos Malaysia features five endangered Malaysian wildlife which are fully protected by the law – the Spiny Terrapin (50 sen), Stump-tailed Macaque (50 sen), Small-clawed Otter (80 sen) and the Banded Broadbill (80 sen), as shown in above cover.
