A series of stamp issue, spanning across five years, was released in conjunction with Singapore '95, the first time a world stamp exhibition was held in Singapore. Orchids have been identified with Singapore for years. As such, each issue in the series comprises of a pair of Orchid stamps, as well as a miniature sheet. The exhibition logo is being depicted at the top left corner of the miniature sheet. Above stamp issue is the second in the series, and it features Dendrobium Sharifah Fatimah and Phalaenopsis Shim Beauty. The miniature sheet, meanwhile, is an impression of Singapore's skyline.
