The Horoscope III issue forms the final instalment of a three-part horoscope-themed stamp series released by Singapore Post in 2023. Issued in stages throughout the year, the series collectively represents the 12 horoscope signs, namely Aries, Taurus, Gemini and Cancer in Part I (Mar 2023); Leo, Virgo, Libra and Scorpio in Part II (Jul 2023); and Sagittarius (1st Local), Capricorn (80c), Aquarius (90c) and Pisces (S$1.50) in Part III (Nov 2023 – this issue). This concluding issue highlights the continuing fascination with astrology and astronomy, themes that have historically influenced how humans interpret the skies and understand their place in the universe. Each design visually interprets its respective zodiac sign using stylised imagery that merges astronomy with artistic expression.
